Jagielka Almost Joined Poland Team


England national team defender, Phil Jagielka admitted that he nearly strengthened Polish national team. That if he was not called for England in a friendly match contra the United States in 2008 by manager Fabio Capello.

Yes, Jagielka has Polish blood. His grandparents was a native of Poland who moved to England in 1948. Poland and Ukraine to host Euro 2012 which begins on June 8 until July 1.

"My grandfather died before I was born. While my grandmother would be happy if I go back to Poland, "said Jagielka as reported by The Sun.

Jagielka will return to their ancestral lands. But, he left Poland for England. This year 29 players summoned by manager Roy Hogdson replace the injured Gareth Barry.

Jagielka in Everton's brilliant appearance makes the former Sheffield United player is constantly monitored by Capello and Hodgson. He also praised by the observers of football when England beat Spain 1-0 in a friendly match that took place at Wembley, November 2011.
